Opened in 2019, Vila Foz Hotel & Spa is located in Portugal and stands out for being one of the 19th century palaces that has been renovated and adapted to the modern luxury of Oporto.
The property is the work of Madeiran designer Nini Andrade Silva and the architecture firm Miguel Cardoso Arquitecto, who restored a 19th-century manor and its historical architectural features and created an extension.
The 68-room hotel will be located in the Foz do Douro district, which is known for its restaurants and boutiques as well as for the 17th-century Castelo do Queijo fortress, the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art and the City Park, the country's largest urban park.
In the restaurant area, in addition to the unique counters and suspension lamps created by Albino Miranda we can also find the Sigma dining table from Karpa as well as the Monaco dining chairs from Gansk.
Other amenities include the Vila Foz Spa, with treatment rooms, a Turkish bath and sauna, an indoor pool and an outdoor relaxation area surrounded by landscaped gardens.
